Just quarrelled with my dad :P Made him angry, and I'm still kinda mad too...he asked me to set up yet ANOTHER email add for him cuz he forgot his previous one (:P)...I was kinda irritated and lost my temper, cuz the whole week he's been using the com, and he hasn't bothered to set up one for himself then though I did show up how before and he should know how to...yet he has to wait until I'm using the com and ask ME to do it!! I wanted to do my own stuff...kinda selfish, and I could have put in in a nicer way...anyway he then started yelling stuff like "You and your japanese!! Japanese, Japanese, always Japanese!! You neglect your studies for Japanese!! Well, let's see your results at the end of the year!!"

:P I wasn't really that mad before that, but what he said made me angrier...I forced myself to calm down and stopped myself from really losing my temper at him...have u ever had an urge to hit someone? But he's my dad after all...

It's NOT true that I neglect my studies to study my Japanese!!! I was about to tell him, "Hey, I passed my A maths recently!!!" :P But I guess I just have to show him. 4 tests this wk. I'll show him. I'll do well in all of them. Trust me.!!!

Training yesterday was quite fun./..Gwen, you were juz talking to me about tumble turns in swimming in sch yesterday...now guess what we did for training? Yeah, tumble turns!!! I don't mind actually, I love tumble turns though doing too much makes me dizzy...
We trained in the water polo pool...I don't mind that, cuz the water's deep (4.5m) and I like deep water, but there are a few reasons i don't like it:
1. SSA TPY has a lot of ppl, so it tends to get crowded...especially in the polo pool, when we're squeezing at one end of the pool. U always risk bumping into someone else no matter what stroke you swim..you don't have enough space. I hate it cuz of that!! If there were lesser ppl or we went off in alternate groups it'd be better, but NO, Uncle Andy juz had to start everyone off at the same time, so it's like, u're stuck btwn 2 ppl on either side trying to queeze your way out and break in front...it's worse when the 2 ppl beside u swim at the same speed that u do...thank goodness it wasn't fly (imagine everyone hitting the ppl on either side of them in the face!!!*piak!!* ow!) or backstroke cuz a lot of ppl tend to go crooked...some more than the others...thankfully it was freestyle yesterday!!

2. The polo pool is also one of the worst places to do backstroke. True, the deep water helps you to float better, but there are no warning flags or lane ropes...no warning flags means u tend to bang your head on the wall unless u keep turning back to look :P Ouch!!! No lane ropes...as I've said before, most ppl tend to swim crooked, some more than the others, so ppl keep banging into each other...other times, while in the course of trying to get frm one end to the other , some ppl swim so crooked that not only to they get to the opposide end, they also swim (unwittingly) to the diagonal opposite end!! In the normal competition pool where there are lane ropes the lane ropes act as barriers so u can't go as crooked...

We had our medical checkup yesterday too; while waiting for our turns to see the nurses, Wenhan asked, kinda out of the blue, whether Arashi had 2 albums. "Here We Go is the 2nd album right?" I told her they had 3, "How's It Going" was the 3rd (Single Selection album not counted), and she seemed quite surprised, "3 already?" She also told me that she hadn't heard Arashi's songs for quite some time, and I told her I could lend her some songs :) Wanted to talk more abt Arashi but once I start I can't stop; I could give her a commentary abt all of Arashi's songs up till the songs in the Pika**nchi Double single...but i refrained from doing so. Looking forward to sharing Arashi's new songs with her!!I wonder what was the latest Arashi song Wenhan heard...probably one of their earlier ones...a Day in Our Life? No, maybe Jidai...

If there's an album I must recommend, it's "How's It Going" cuz it holds the most variety of song types, be it R&B or ballads or dance/techno or heavy metal or rock...:) Guess I'll lend it to Wenhan?? :) Hope she takes good care of it though, all my Arashi CDs are my precious babies lol. No, I'm sure she will :)

Saving up for the Arashi Summer Concert VCD box set...din see the DVD in HMV but it'd be really expensive anyway :P The 3 disc VCD set is around $32.90 so I'll need to save for a couple of wks. Should I buy less mags? Cuz there are so many other things i want to get, and I need to save up too...I wish I were able to get all those 3 mags at discounted price all the time...but now i have to rush once the sea shipment arrives cuz u never know if they'll have any copies left to sell at discounted price :P. Duet, WinkUp and Myojo all have their specialties which I don't want to miss...maybe I'll get Chinese Winkup instead...it's either cut down on magazine expenditure or beg for an allowance raise :P Got it, maybe I'll delay getting Winkup cuz there's always the Chinese version which will have a LOT of leftover copies anyway, if I can't get the japanese version. I hope the SG $ rises against the yen soon, cuz it means that my mags will cost less...

I need to get new tops...not enuf variety in my closet, at least to me :)

  For some reason I don't even know of I can't stop listening to Arashi's 'Arerugi'LOLz...interesting song with really interesting lyrics...it's from their very first album. Kinda surprised, they did sound so young then although it was only around 3 years ago...their sound has matured and I don't think it's just because they changed record companies.

Sho's rapping voice is deeper now...sounds more macho...:) I know Sho was a late bloomer, guess his voice also finished changing a little later than the rest?

I'm wondering right now exactly how many of my classmates read my blog--just curious, nothing more...

Went sort of crazy today and put nearly 50 songs on my Winamp list--that's over 3 hours worth of music!! Cantopop, a few Mandarin songs, mostly Jpop--Jingchuan, you're right, I have almost no English songs on my com at all!! Obviously the majority is Jpop, followed by cantopop...
Anyway, I played songs I haven't played for quite some time, like the Ruroni Kenshin opening/ending themes...really nostalgic :) Doing so reminded me why I loved those songs so much--songs like L'arc en Ciel's "4th Avenue Cafe" :D Yupz, rock song...Globe's "Perfume 'f Love" too... love the rapping it's so macho and sexy...The last few songs were TOKIO songs, and as they played I didn't expect feelings to surge through me...feelings and memories, of how I got interested in Johnny's. Although I did know about Johnny's before then, through KinKi Kids and SMAP, it was my craze in TOKIO early last year that got me really into Johnny's, and then into Arashi...:) I remember thinking, "Tomoya Nagase really sings with a lot of feeling/" (was listening to Hitoribocchi no Haburashi).

"Ai No Arashi"--Aiba covered this song in Suppin Arashi...makes me dream of becoming that kind of 'Bad Girl' lolz...actually one reason why I like rock songs is bcuz they make me dream of being that kind of bad girl who rides motorbikes and dances wildly on the bar top...that kind of thing. Will I have the guts to do that in the future? I don't know, but I do all sorts of things in my imagination lol...I probably *will* have the guts to do such stuff cuz I'd want to do them...it's only a matter if i should or should not...
"Hitoribocchi no Haburashi"--the song that started it all...suddenly thought of Tomoya Nagase after watching the Ring tv serial and searched for him on Kazaa...this was the song that popped up, early last yr...has it been over a year already? It was around this time last year that I was making the gradual switch from TOKIO to Arashi via V6(um...am i making sense here?). I thought Tomoya was really good looking...then I got interested in Ken Miyake for a short while (like, 2 days?) before falling for Matsumoto Jun. Then as I found out more about Arashi's members, I liked Sho more and more.

Why am i describing them as if they were my boyfriends or something? Lolz--uso uso uso!! They're my idol crushes, not my boyfriends!! I don't wanna sound like those crrazy obsessed fans who completely IDOLIZE them...as the definition goes, idolization is the blind, excessive and obsessive admiration or someone. i don't think I'm that crazy. I'm a fan, and i admire Sho as a role model and and idol...but I'm not that kind of crazed fan who keeps saying he's her husband/boyfriend and no one else can have him, or the kind of fanatics who's trail him everywhere, even to the toilet...When you admire someone, as opposed to obsessing over them, you retain your rationality and your respect for the other person. You accept that he's human with flaws too, you accept others' opinions of him. Ppl who idolize someone obsessively see their idol as perfect., and refuse to accept that idols are human and have their weaknesses too.

Love You Only--TOKIO's debut single...they really sound so young then, it was released in 1994 and Tomoya was only 16. he wasn't the lead singer in this song--Taichi or Tatsuya was..."Love You Only" is also very different from the later TOKIO songs; while the later songs are rock songs, "Love You Only" was more to the pop/bubblegum side...lyrics were so sweet...something a young boy would say to the girl he liked. Natsukashii ne? It's been 10 yrs...TOKIO was a new group then, so young and all...SMAP and KinKi Kids were still new, and V6 hadn't even been formed yet. None of the Arashi members were Jr.s yet!! Now TOKIO, SMAP and KinKi Kids are the oldest Johnny's groups that are still performing (Apart from Shonentai), they're the 'senpai' groups..all mature, nearing their 30s...and you have new groups like T&T and Arashi...NEWS too :) Arashi's already reaching its 5th anniversary this year. I wonder, what would Arashi be live 5, maybe even 10, years from now? They've changed so much since their debut, in so many ways---their songs, their voices, their looks and appearances, their style. How will all these change in the next 5/10 years? In 10 or 15 years, maybe Arashi and V6 will be the big senpai groups...what will the Johnny's groups yet to be formed and debuted be like? Who will belong in them? The little Juniors who seem so young and innocent now...what will they be like by then? Will they still be in Johnny's? Will the current senpai groups still be around, flourishing as much as they are now? Or will they be like Shonentai, doing plays, the odd performance....?

This house believes that idolization of public personalities is shallow.
And we're proposition....
But our opponent is the well-trained, well experienced Unity team...
The motion is on our side...it'd be a farce if our class actually lost.

I came up with some points just now...the key word here is 'idolization'. And the undeniable thing is, any form of idolization (def: worshipping blindly and to excess) is rather shallow...the thing is, I can't think up any counter arguments which opposition might come up with...nvm, when we meet tml, at least someone will be able to think of something. We have to be very, very prepared.

juz now i was trying to store Chingyi's phone number into my phone...wasn't exactly paying attention to what I was selecting in the menu and accidentally sent a message with her name to her!!! How idiotic can I get?? She'd probably wonder what the hell i'm typing her name into an sms for...:P

I'm wondering who my angel is...she's given me so many clues yet I still can't guess who on earth she is!!! Muz seem so unbelievably stupid to her....I think I can't guess her identity cuz I don't know enough about most of the ppl in the class...who has how many siblings etc etc...:P Gotta widen that social circle, but with the meagre social skills I have...

So many ppl have joined my club for training...can't remember all their names!! 2 girls from Outram Sec...Chanel and...*blush* I...forgot the other girl's name...too...I'm itching to ask them if they know Ron, my net friend...bet they do, cuz Ron did mention that Chanel was one of his best friends on his sch swim team last yr (he's in JC now)...haven't chatted with him for quite some time...I've chatted with his friend Stephanie but I dun think I've chatted with Chanel (or have I?) In any case, she's not on my MSN list...I'll ask her if she knows Ron when I see her tml.

I saw some students frm a school with a SAILOR UNIFORM today!!!
Nor really sure exactly which school it was, but definitely in the cluster my school belongs to.

The skirt was navy blue, blouse(sailor type) was black...
It may be hot, but I'd die for a uniform that looked as nice as that :)
Or at least a uniform that looks nicer than this one
But it's just 1 more yr...will live with it...
Though I think one reason so many students dun wear their uniforms properly is cuz they're not proud of it...cuz they're unhappy with the uniform...cuz it's so...normal. nothing unique.

OK, the badge is unique, but how many ppl know the difference between our badge and the other CHIJ schools' badges? Some of my friends frm other schools mistake other CHIJ girls for ppl frm my sch cuz they notice the blue pinafore but not the badge...
Pinafores can look rather childish too:P Blouse and skirt any time...at least something nicer
and let me say this. I THINK LOW BELTS ARE UGLY!!!!

Low socks do fit our uniform...juz realised that cuz our skirts are supposed to be so long, low socks make legs look longer...
but sometimes, depending on the kind of shoes u wear, it makes u look really sloppy....
