Amearashi...It's thanks to the RainStorm that I found myself again.
I typed so much and the computer hung halfway! :~( I'm not really in the mood to retype everything again.
To passerby from my guestbook: Yes, I can be mean, I did say that when I get really upset with a person, I'd be angry and type stuff that can be quite mean...I try not to mention names or give too many clues as to who the person is. If I really disliked someone, I think it's hypocritical to be extraordinarily nice to her. I'll do stuff for her if she asks, or if it's necessary, but I wouldn't try currying favour. At most, I'd treat her normally or leave her alone, but I won't go all the way out and be really mean or nice to her on purpose.
When someone has upset you, what would u do? Maybe it's not fair to write such stuff like how someone has betrayed u etc etc...but take note, this is a blog, not some sweet fairytale where everything goes right all the time. Life isn't like that. I'd be lying if i said there wasn't anyone who's really upset me, or that I'm nice to everyone and love everyone. Please take the things i say with a pinch of salt. When someone is angry or upset, her feelings can cause her to be biased against that person and not see more than that. I think I'm sill relatively mild compared to some other people who really name a person and call her names in their blogs. But then, those are
their blogs. We have to accept what ppl say on their own blogs, for they have their freedom to write what they want to.
Yamapiaibamiyakeuchi: I'm sorry, I typed out a lot about NEWS, but didn't get to post it as my com hung!! I'll type it out again some other time, and I'm gonna post the members' profiles too!
NEWS seems to be sponsored by 7-11 or something, going by their official site. Their debut CD will be released on 7-11( 7 November) in 7-11 stores(in Japan)!
YamaP is the group's leader, and at any one time, around 7 members will be active as they'll work on rotational basis. If what I heard from other fans isn't wrong, the members frm different subgrps will take turns going back to their subgroups.
When i get my Myojo, Winkup and Potato I might post some article translations too. they should have articles on NEWS, just like Duet did.
Here's a translation of an interview that I put up on the Iro-Asenaide forum. Pardon the bad translation!!! I thought it's be good to let others know more about the members who are not as well-known, in this case Masuda and Tegoshi.
Masuda Takahisa & Tegoshi Yuuga
A Senpai Kohai Interview
Masuda: Look at this look at this~ although the tank tops we're wearing under our shirts are of the same size, it's loose on Tegoshi but tightish on me.
Tegoshi:......
Masuda: Ok, the interview. But am I the only one who isn't comfortable in this interview? After all, I just met tegoshi for the first time at 1pm today didn't I?
Tegoshi: Oi, wait a minute (laughs). We met for the first time when we sang "Stand Up" with K.K.Kity! 2 months have passed! And we sang together in KAT-TUN's concert too.
Masuda: Oi, Tegoshi! (gestures for him to "Come join in more in the coversation") Although we probably should start by talking about our first impressions of each other, frankly, the [number of ] Jrs keeps increasing furiously before we even know it, so I don't really remember stuff like what happened when we met for the first time.
Tegoshi: I remember though. I thought Massu was cool;[you were] good at combining things, had a great smile, and danced well.
Masuda: Tegoshi-i~~
Tegoshi:...a, of course A.B.C is cool when it comes to dance.
Masuda:...che. (A.B.C, who are in the same studio, ask, "What kind of idol does tegoshi aspire to be?") Aa, let's hear about that!
Tegoshi: Ee...of course singing and dancing...
Masuda: Not the comedy type but the cool type?
Tegoshi: If is possible, the cool type...(laughs)
Masuda: Aa, because you say it so unregretfully, although it's rather bold to say so, can it be because I'm exceptionally not the comedy type!? Although you probably think so because you often see me being bullied by A.B.C, to me the truth is...the truth is...maa, that's enough. But I wonder why Tegoshi and I have been grouped together. Ah, A.B.C said, "Isn't it because the both of you sing well together?" Actually, It's Tegoshi who [sounds] good. Hai, sing!
Tegoshi: No~~~ [Ya~da~yo~].
Masuda: If you don't sing here you can't improve
Tegoshi: Singing is okay. But more than that, I'd like to hear about the secret recipe behind Massu's smile.
Masuda: Whether it's a secret recipe or anything else, if you're happy at work from the bottom of your heart, you'll have a nice smile!
Tegoshi: When I smile, my eyes become narrow~.
Masuda: Eyes? My eyes narrow too.
Tegoshi: ...as you've said that, could it be that Massu and I are the smile-and-eyes-grow-narrow combi?

Whew!!!
Finally got alll the signatures, ended up with 5 signatures instead of just 4, will get to that in a min...
What a time to make students go hunting for signatures...at a time when the Science teachers are all not in school and other teachers are busy marking exam scripts :P:P:P
Paced around the secondary block waiting for the English teachers to finish judging the debaters...before I got kinda frustrated and decided to find other teachers. I went up the staircase to the staffroom...and bumped into Miss Poore!!! What luck!!! But she was busy talking to Wu Laoshi and so I stood by the side, waiting...Ms Cindy Ng seemed to be waiting too, but anyway I went up to Ms Poore right after she finished talking to Wu Laoshi and got her to sign. 2 down, 2 to go...minus Zhang Laoshi's and that was 1 left...
The English teachers were busy. I decided to find Ms Lim the PE teacher, hoping that for once she'd actually be nice enuf to sign with me.
No such luck. She said she didn't know exactly what i did as Chef LC in CCA and so she couldn't sign without knowing...said that if her track girls came up to her she would sign for them as she knew what they did...actually i do understand why, she only has PE essons with us 1 hour a wk, she doesn't really know us...
But anyway, I thanked her and walked back to the secondary block, careful to avoid the Science labs...was on the verge of tears actually, wondering if I should give up...kind of angry at whoever came up with the idea to make us go around collecting supporting signations for the nomination form at this time, of all times. Not only was it inconvenient for us, it was too for the teachers, who have to keep getting interrupted from their marking by students wanting their signature...
and some teachers are so hard to find...poor Ling Hui, when I left she was still looking for Miss Poore...if only we'd tagged along with each other maybe she'd have gotten hold of Miss Poore when I did...
anyway when i reached the classroom, thank good ness the judging had just ended!! hesitatingly, I stepped up to the classroom and was just about to knock when mr Wong saw me and asked,"yes?"
I think I was pretty rude, but right then I was so relieved and upset and exhausted after searching all over for teachers who could --and would--sign my form that I was stuttering again. I don't really remember if I greeted them...I asked "May I see Miss jeya and Mrs Gurung please? I need them to sign this form." and I held up the green sheet weakly, feeling like a moron, especially since there were other teachers in the room who saw every single moronic, idiotic move I made. They were all watching me, I could just feel it. And I handed the form over, just as Miss jeya asked, "So have you finally decided which teacher nominated you?" I told her yes, it was Mrs tan after all, and she nooded...by then I just need one signature, having to save spacefor Zhang laoshi to sign as our form teacher.
I told them, but i don't know if Mrs Gurung and Miss jeya heard me. If I asked just one of them to sign, the other might few hurt, both of them taught me for 2 yrs and r still teaching me now...anyway, both of them signed! and so Zhang Laoshi had no space. And I needed the form teacher's signature!!!
Just before, I was in dire need of signatures. Now, barely 2 minutes later, I had too many!!!
Well, I went to find Zhang laoshi anyway, and ran into her and Linghui outside the staff room. Linghui still didn't have any signatures...all because she couldn't find Miss Poore who nominated her...by then it was 12pm and I was really running late... But I was really relieved as well, but still smarting after behaving so idiotically in front of so many teachers!!!
It would be an hour before I reached home, needed to call my Mum but I didn't bring my handphone, so popped into the stationery shop near the buststop and spent $5 on a phonecard!!! $5!! it's a lot to me, cuz every single cent is precious--it all counts toward my magazine budget!!
But mum didn't turn on her handphone :( Grrrrr!!! Spent $5 for nothing!!! I tried to call her 6 times!!!
Rushed home, changed, put on some makeup and rushed to P.S, all while my stomach was hurting with a serious case of gastric pains. I did take a chocalate bar before i left home, but the HCl in my tummy proved to be too strong for that...:P
Mum finally called when i was on the MRT...
Anyway, i saw daphne(Aw) at PS, she was with some friends, but guess what? She didn't see me at all!!! A blessing or not, I don't know...
But I did get a pair of cheap sunglasses at This Fashion! Though cheap sunglasses can hurt ur eyes, they looked cool...
and so i spent $9 today....
need some serious belt tightening...

LOL, call it a strange coincidence, but for the past week I keep running into Wenhan whenever i get down from the bus outside the MRT station on the way home...someone gave her a lift I think...every day! We'd be walking in opposite directions and I'd manage a wave or a smile. really, what a coincidence!!!
Lately I've been wanting to get to know others in the class better, it seems like for half the yr or so i was always attached to the same circle of friends and didn't really bother to get to know others...
Will they accept me? Some may have pre-conceived opinions but i really want to get to know them better. I don't mean gain entry into their cliques, but just be good enough friends to chat with them occasionally etc. small talk..stuff like that...without feelings stilted or uncomfortable. There are some whom I'm "Hi Bye Good Luck" friends with, others who are just smile-nod acquaintances, and yet others whom...we pretend not to know/see each other...I just realised there are a lot of ppl in the class I never talk to.
But frm my own observance and experience, ppl are bound to feel strange when someone u've never been on really good terms with suddenly says hi, tries to be friendly or write a letter... I just want to be friends, no strings attached.
Wonder why so many conversations I try to start end in awkward silence...
But things are starting to look up a little :) I really don't believe the ppl in our class are that bad, it's just that sometimes I can't stand the way some of them behave...
But u see the way they are with their friends, and u realise they can be quite nice too
latest obsession: my November Duet!! Arashi on the cover!!! And info about NEWS!!!!
Yuya Tegoshi had an interview with Masuda Takahisa(Massu). Yuya seemed really shy and uncomfortable, probably cuz he wasn't a jr for very long b4 he debuted and so isn't as close to the rest...and massu is his 'senior' in a way. Massu was chatting on and on (very much like what I do when I'm with a quieter person) trying to get Yuya to warm up to him, but Yuya still seemed quite uncomfortable...he warmed up a little toward the end. As I mentioned, he IS newer after all and hadn't worked closely with most of the other NEWS members before, which explains his unease.
Massu, attached to A.B.C before his debut, isn't as popular as say, YamaP...he is close to ABC and probably yoshikazu Toshin as well, but I just have this gut feeling that he, too, isn't that close knit with the rest of the group yet. If I'm not wrong, he's quite new too, though not as new as Yuya who just joined Johnny's somewhere last yr...
In the main picture of NEWS in the opening pages of Duet, Shige, Koyama, Kusano, YamaP, Ryo and Hiroki were standing close together, but Massu and Tegoshi were standing a little futher away, looking rather uncertain. And Moriuchi Takahiro...he stood with Shige and the rest but was dropping toward the back, as if he were trying to blend into the background. The 3 new, not so popular members do seem rather uneasy with the more popular ones...they haven't been on the scene as long I guess, so they don't have the time to get to know the other Jrs besides those frm their own batch whom they would have magazine interviews with.
Give them a little time and they'll fit in better!! They'll settle in and as they have more performances and other appearances together, the group spirit will grow.

i came to St nicks not just because of what my cousin said, but because on the reporting day, and during my first few weeks here, people were so nice and really, I thought it was all that gd...I only saw the uglier side later on when I realised that not everyone was as nice as I thought, and kind of woke up from my illusion. I'm posting this reply here because i want to rectify stuff. true, I judged St Nick's girls by my cousin's opinion at first, but it was the behavior of the earlier batches etc that I saw with my own eyes that gave me a certain expectation of the way St Nicks girls should be... But not everyone can conform, right?
I wanna get contact lenses! But mum won't allow it. She and i have this promise though, if I do really well this yr she'll let me get contacts next year, but even then i can only wear them for special occasions, not everyday :P I really think I look better without glasses. Okay, one of my eyes as a double eyelid and the other doesn't, and sometimes it makes one eye look a little bigger than the other, but believe it or not, I actually like them that way.
There was a geisha in Japanese history--Taka, the Literary geisha, who wasn't really pretty but was really talented when it came to poems and other such literary stuff. But the thing customers were most attracted to were her eyes--because she, too, had one single-lidded and one double-lidded eye! "One western eye (the double lidded one) and one Asian eye". It appeals to me most because while I want to learn the western culture, I want to preserve our Asian heritage too...I want to be well versed in eastern as well as Western culture. And the eyes just seem to fit...But if u made me choose which eye i like most, I would say I like my single-eyelid more, strange enough. It's got a nicer shape (LOL)
Ok...you've got to understand that a 'diary', as this blog is, is meant for ppl to share their thoughts, vent their feelings as so. No one can tell a person what and what not to write on their blogs, and u have to take what u read with a pinch of salt. Moods can influence a person's feelings and thus, what she writes...if I'm angry at a person, I may rant and maybe 'bitch' about her (I do try not to bitch...I try to write stuff in a way that the person wouldn't be too upset if she read it...try to) but after that burst of anger is over and I calm down...usually, when i say i really hate a person, it's just for the moment...then I'll get over it. (BTW I still dislike Maki Goto).
Face it, most of the ppl who put their diaries up online like this knowingly or unknowingly have some deep wish inside for others to read their thoughts and feelings. I'm no exception...my deepest secrets whom I don't want anyone to know about are in the hard, handwritten journal I keep at home under lock and key. But I am honest here...I just withhold some stuff i don't want others to know. Everyone has some secret they wouldn't want anyone else to know...
This blog is a media where i can share what i want to with the people who read it, and maybe communicate with them too:)

Wow! meet the Johnny's idols? Cool...wish I knew someone like Kenichi...unfortunately that's just a dream (LOL)
Never mind, maybe someday u'll get to go! I have this feeling I'll love it there and want to go again...:D Given a choice, I'd hang around the Keio University area near the Mita train station--the Johnny's office is in the area!!! But my mum probably won't allow it--she's think I'm crazy, besides I don't want to become one of those crazy fans who trail their idols everywhere and give them no privacy...
(P.S: It does help that Sho happens to study in that very campus of Keio U--the Mita campus :D Wonder if he chose to study there on purpose? Since it's near the office and everything)
It's tough being an idol, especially when u're studying and everything. Makes me admire them even more, but all the same I hope they take good care of themselves! Their busy schedule is one reason why I don't really believe the rumour that CERTAIN Jrs smoke--smoking will make them breathless and affect their dancing, won't it? It'd stain their teeth yellow too--a definite no-no for all the magazine pictures and everything.
Some Japanese fans on a Jap forum board were saying that they saw a few Jrs--I shall not name those Jrs here--smoking! Makes me kind of worried, but there are bound to be some ppl around who look a LOT like some idols--just look at the lookalike photo page in Myojo, where ppl send in photos of their friends/relatives etc who bear resemblance to their idols! Even if they did smoke--will they dare to smoke in public? Another Johnny's rule is that the idols should not smoke/take drugs etc. I'd believe those fans on the Jap forum if I really see one of the idols smoking when I'm in Japan. Hopefully I wouldn't. I'd be really shocked and disturbed. All the same, i seriously don't think they'd smoke--they dance and sing, and have to look good for pictures. Smoking wouldn't help that!!
On a lighter note: Look at the photos in the mags! Their teeth are so white!! Do they smoke? Probably not!!
Which I had one of those MMS phones that can take photos...no digicam, no scanner :P Actually Johnny's doesn't allow the idols to take pictures with the fans on the streets or so...at least it's one of the rules, or that's what a member on the fan forum once said :P It's probably the same when it comes to taking pictures of just the idols with a personal camera :P unless it's a concert or something I guess... But I do hope I'll see one of them on the streets!!! There have been cases of fans running into Johnny's idols in a restaurant (Aiba, Nino, Sho)--the fan wrote in to Myojo mag to tell them abt it--and this Taiwanese fan went to the family restaurant, Keikaro, which Aiba's family owns--and saw him there!!! It's in Chiba...which I probably won't be going to...though Narita Airport is in the area...
Note: In one interview a few yrs ago when Arashi went to New York, Sho said that on his way back from the airport he dropped by Aiba's house to use the toilet! YamaP lives in Chiba too, and Nino lives near Chiba. He did mention that when he was still a Jr, he, Aiba and YamaP would go home together as they would take the same train etc etc.
Just another fact--it's actually illegal to put up pictures of any Johnny's artiste on the internet, just why I don't know--it's why Japanese sites NEVER have any photos of the Johnny's artistes, so technically I'm not supposed to use that picture of Arashi as my background. The foreign sites do, however--its would be hard to enforce the law outside of Japan, and moreover, it's impossible to crawl through every single Japanese site and make sure none of them have any photos of Johnny's idols...
K, history exam tml, gtg!

Gwen: Yupz!! Gd luck for exams!!! If I dun get into RJC I'll just DIE!!!
YaMaPaIbAmIyAkEuChI :Hey, join iro-asenaide!!! It's this cool forum:
http://www.iro-asenaide.org where u can discuss about ur favpurite Johnny's grp all u like! Just strictly NO RUMOURS please! It's where I get my information from!
Hey, juz curious, which school are u frm? Cheryl Quek...I don't know her...
I don't know where the Inooki shop is...I do love the shop at Heeren though! Wish I had the cash to buy some stuff...:( Maybe I'll be able to afford the pics but...:(
Well, I actually know that someone on the fan forum I belong to actually received a reply from Nino!!! She's from the US, so maybe as a fan from a non-Asian country is quite rare...Lots of fans in Japan post up the replies they get frm their Johnny's idols...apparently, there are 2 kinds of replies u can get--copies of handwritten letters frm the idols, and personal, handwritten ones. If ppl do get a reply, it's usually around 3 months later...hey, they have thousands, maybe even millions of fans out there who write letters to them!!!
The JJrs do go to school! (Well, for those of schooling age that is). Firstly, in Japan schooling in compulsory up till high school so the younger Jrs like Ya-ya-yah, K.K.Kity, Kansai Jrs (not KanJani8, they're older) and ABC definitelt go to school. After senior high they may or may not decide to continue schooling. Some of the Jrs (Kazama Shunsuke, Keiichiro Koyama and a few others) did decide to go on to university!! Akiyama Jun of Musical Aacdemy graduated frm the uni last yr, while Sakurai Sho of Arashi is in Keio University!! (for the 1000th time, HE"S SO SMART!!!)think they do get mobbed by fans, Sho once said in an interview that he was pretty upset when fans mob him outside his school and call up his school wanting to speak to him etc, etc. But I think their friends wouldn't mob them, if they were true friends. Of course, there are probably bound to be some ppl who try to suck up to them cuz they're famous and everything, but it seems that they lead pretty normal school lives. Still, sometimes they miss school because of work, or miss work because of school etc etc, and their schedules are of course bound to be very busy.
In september Duet, Hasegawa Jun, Shunsuke kazama and Toma Ikuta revealed their daily shedules for that time period. Toma graduated frm senior high in April or so, but HaseJun is in the same school and level as YamaP! (Nino of Arashi graduated frm that school too) and Kazama's in university... at around 3 or 4pm they are dismissed frm school, take abt 1 hour to commute to the workplace(Johnny's office), and then it's stuff like rehearsals, interviews, photoshoots and maybe other lessons( if I'm not wrong some jrs take voice lessons and dance lessons). Everything ends at around 9pm, then they commute home, do their homework and sleep at around midnight.
here's the address to send fanletters to, no, Id don't have Aiba or Nino's addresses, all fanletters should be sent to Johnny's. The idols' privacy would be compromised if their actual home addresses were revealed wouldn't they?

I wish I could get a DVD player that plays VHS as well...I don't care if all the VHSes at Liang Court are purely Japanese...sigh...I'd try my best to understand........*weeps* But that's so hard to find!!! Especially since this demanding girl wants one that can play DVDs and VHS, and RECORD DVDS as well!!! (Even if there it one it'll probably be super expensive...:(
Going to Japan in November!...I'm going into every single Johnny's shop I can!! Shinjuku, Harajuku, Osaka, Kyoto....as long as I get the chance to go I WILL!!! ~crazy Johnny's fan alert!~ I think I'll get 1 or 2 CDs there, like Arashi's "Here We Go", cuz I'm such a spendthrift, I only get the Japanese version of their CDs cuz I just can't stand the Taiwan versions with their song titles in Chinese...and Jap editions tend to be kind of on the expensive side...cost more than twice the taiwan versions for albums, and at least $5 more for singles...
Ok, gotta sign off now...A Maths exam tml...
Oh, and Potato, Wink Up and Duet will also be out tml!!!!!!! *grins* can afford to sneak off to Kinokuniya for a while!
