  2 weeks. 2 weeks!! Went down to HMV(yet again) today to check out when 'How's It Going' was arriving. The lady at the counter was really nice, told me that it usually took a longer time for a Jpop CD to arrive. Says who?Ayumi Hamasaki's A Ballads was available in the stores 2 days after the Jap release!!!Anyway, she also told me that they were probably going to bring in only arnd 2 copies or so, so I'd have to reserve it--IT WAS DAMN LUCKY I DID THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE!(sorry for the caps). I just have to go to the Iro-Asenaide forum and let the S'porean fans there know, or they'd be waiting in vain...but it was STILL down so I couldn't do so, or post any translations either :P

Anyway, I got the August issue of Myojo--last copy in Kino Bugis!I spend abt 1/3 of my allowance on foreign mags...no regrets...Wink Up and Duet are staples, and I get Potato sometimes, and Myojo if it has interesting articles. And of course I'd get any mag that has Arashi on the cover!!! I've decided, better start putting exatctly 1/3 of my allowance and loose change aside for those mags, to get them as soon as they come out...it's either that or go down to Liang Court every month. The Sept issue of Myojo is a must! (Arashi on the cover) and this month's Duet(not out yet) and nxt month's Wink Up too> Like Duet, WinkUp underwent a 'makeover' :) It's now the same size as Potato and Duet.

Money will be tight when I save up for CDs............ 3 September........

Must try not to get so much clothing, I really have to work on my willpower. My closet is nearly full and I still don't think it's enough!! There's that Hang Ten long sleeved T and the pink pleat skirt and a cardigan or two...(I think I'll seach ice lemon tee 4 that)...Currently, I seem to have a thing for baby blue and sky blue...u know, pale, pastel blues? The colour of my hp. Pastel pink too...

Stripes and bright colours are in this season in Japan, going by Myojo. Oh, I just envy their clothing over there...let's hope I do get to go to Japan this year! The clothes they feature in mags are expensive but I'm hoping I'll be able to find similar stuff at a much cheaper price at places like Shibuya.

Today's oral...I don't really want to talk about it. Reading was ok but I really hesitated ALOT when it came to conversation, half wishing I had an English-Chinese dictionary in front of me...I couldn't express myself properly, and not only that, it seemed like there wasn't much to talk abt for the topics they gave!! I didn't have very strong opinions on the topics they gave...I was hesitating, stuttering, repeating myself...the 2 invigilators seemed really unsatisfied. :P If I even got 20 marks I'd be really, really happy. Forget abt the 25/30 I got for prelims. I think the teacher was lenient then, but at least she encouraged you! Maybelline said that the 2 male idiots(or, in other words, the invigilators) seemed to laugh at her whenever she read a word wrongly. It's true that we'd have been more comfortable with a female invigilator, but the 2 of them really seemed to look down on us! They can be at least nicer right?

ok...I'm gonna sound haolian here but when I was reading the passage, I heard one of them tell the other," du2 de2 bu cuo4" ("her reading is not bad!") But the conversation part? :P i wish the topic were SARS, the Iraq war, students committing suicide/crimes, the Iranian conjoined twins,even the water agreement btwn S'pore and Johore! At least I have pretty strong opinions and ideas about those topics. Or, stuff like what we got for prelims. "Shouls students have handphones?" etc...BUT...:P:P:P

The school swimming National finals? Congrats Lynette on ur new record!!! Great job done, C Div 50 fly girls..out of 8 lanes, 5 of them were occupied by St Nicks! Michelle, we knew you could do it--nice try! Of course, vanessa who came in 3rd for fly...and the C Div Medley relay team who came in 1st, the B Div team who got 3rd, and the dozens more :):):) I can't wait till tml...It's a pity I couldn't stay the whole day today, much as I wanted to *glowers* (sarcastically) Thanks a LOT, O level orals :P

True Song

人はなぜない物を探し続けてるの?
悩む事さえ忘れかけている My Life

I set out in secret
As the familiar smile waits
"JIRIRI", the departing bell rings
And big drops of tears disappear in the winds of midsummer)

Soto wa hare yume wa doko? Meguriau no wa dare?

On the other side of the closing doors, I saw it!
)

(If I ever go so far away that I forget even [her] name
I'll take off my necktie, and as I get down from the car midjourney,
Gently embrace the memories of this street, the day I took for granted
And what I'm supposed to protect
)

A worn out white shirt
Standing in the middle of the crossroads,
Having been caught up and surpassed by the flow of time,
Is the True Song that bloomed in the calm afternoon
Of that summer.
)

As I alight from the car mid-journey, time slowly comes to a stop
The sun rises in every street
Striking the bell of hope

The courage to believe, the radiance of spirit
And what I should protect
